Dear Sir/Madame,

I am writing to thank you for your generous scholarship. I was very happy and appreciative to learn that I was selected as a recipient of your scholarship.

I am a mathematics and chemistry major with an emphasis in education. I plan to pursue a career in education upon graduating from Chreso University in 2022. 

Thanks to you, I am one step closer to my goal. The money from the scholarship helped me pay for my tuition fee and carter for some other expenses as well.

By awarding me this scholarship you have lightened my financial burden which allows me to focus more on the most important aspect of school--learning. 

Your generosity has inspired me to give back to the community and I hope one day I will be able to help students achieve their goals just as you have helped me, either as a teacher and possibly through a scholarship.
