You can receive forgiveness of all sins and begin a New Life in Jesus Christ—Right Now!
The Bible says: “because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.” (Romans Chapter 10, Verses 9-10).
God only requires a sincere heart that believes that Jesus is The Savior for the Whole World and a willingness to receive Him. Then allow Him to transform you (called being “Born Again”) and walk with Him/follow Him day by day. What a Wonderful Life!
You can begin that Wonderful Life through praying a prayer such as this—
“Dear Lord God, I admit that I have sinned,
and I need you to save me and change me from my old way of living.
Please forgive all my sins.
I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He died for my sins
and rose again from the dead. I now cast away my old life and
I give myself to Jesus to be His follower forever.
I receive Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior.
Amen.”
Hallelujah! Hallelujah!

I Have Just Become A Christian…
But, What Does That Mean?
You are not alone. Most of us have heard about Christianity and Christians, but have never thoroughly examined The Holy Bible (the Scriptures) to see what it says. Let’s do that now.
I. What is Christianity? It is the lifestyle, mindset and way of being that results from a personal, dynamic relationship with Jesus Christ. Notice that it is not simply a religion or philosophy; it is a belief and an experience in those who receive Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. The power of Christ to change individuals from the inside out, to literally transform their spirit, is what the Bible calls being “born again,” and now ready to start this brand new life. Only those who surrender themselves to Christ and allow Him to transform them will experience the fullness of Christianity.
II. What is a Christian? One who has genuinely been “born again.” As this individual walks with Christ, they will become more and more like Christ in attitude, thoughts, behavior, etc. Literally, a Christian is one who is like Christ.
A. Where in the Bible are these principles taught?
1. Our need to be Born Again
a. St John 3:3-7
2. The newness of life that occurs when walking with Christ
a. New life--II Corinthians 5:17; St John 10:10
b. New mind--Ephesians 4:22-24; Romans 12:1-2
c. New heart (attitude, motives)—Ezekiel 36:26-27; Psalms 15:1-2 and 24:3-5
d. New lifestyle (behavior, works)—Proverbs 15:26; Galatians 5:19-23; Ephesians 4:25-29
III. Now that I am a Christian, what should I do? One should begin diligent pursuit of knowing Christ, through receiving the spiritual nourishment and guidance that are necessary for the proper growth and protection of a newborn baby in Christ.
A. Seek to grow in your new life with Christ through the following:
1. Studying the Word of God (The Bible)—Psalms 1:2-3 and 119:9 and 119:11; II Timothy 2:15
2. Prayer (talking to God with sincerity from your heart)—Philippians 4:6-8; I Thessalonians 5:17; St Luke 18:1 II Chronicles 7:14
3. Fellowship with other Christians in a Bible-believing Church—Hebrews 10:25; II Timothy 2:22; St John 15:12
4. Seek to know and follow Jesus—St Matthew 6:33; Colossians 3:1-2; St Matthew 22:36-39; Acts 5:29; II Peter 1:3-8
Congratulations and Welcome to the Family of God!
